Lately, I have been in awe of the energy work I get to be a part of.
Looking back over the past two years of owning Within Reach Energy Healing, LLC what strikes me as the most rewarding aspect is being able to be a witness to the transformative power of energy healing. That, and the amazing individuals I have the honor of working with. It's as if I sent a prayer to the The Universe with an "ideal client" wish list, and The Universe answered that with real life Souls in human bodies walking through the threshold of my healing space! Truth be told there needs not be an as if in the previous sentence. If you, dear reader, have come to see me in my Certified Healing Touch Practitioner capacity, I just want you to know that you are truly amazing.
I have been able to be a part of so many mystical occurrences: the sudden dissolution of uncomfortable physical symptoms, shared visions of loved ones visiting during the session and so much more. I have been able to share healing tears with people and resonate on a heart-to-heart level where we BOTH feel the expansive, ever supportive, etherical power of healing Love.
I am always pondering about the semantics of the work I do, and lately I have been pondering if Love is a synonym of Healing Energy, or even... God.
Whatever it is, it's powerful - it's transformative - and every time I get to be in the presence of it I feel truly blessed. I feel it in my personal life in the little moments with my loved ones, or Nature and I feel it BIG TIME when I get to work with clients offering Healing Touch.
I recently had a moment in which I was the one on the table receiving energy work from an incredible Healer. I was reminded of how energy work is such a powerful tool for me especially when I am in that space I refer to as "a funk" - simply because there isn't a better way to describe it! Maybe you've been there, where you just feel sad but you cannot really pinpoint one or a reason for the sadness. It's in those times of being in a "funk" that I feel the weight of the darker aspects of humanity on my shoulders. The amazing aspect of the healing work I received was that I felt dramatically different and all I did was lay on a table for 1 hour. When I say dramatically different, I mean it. I felt lighter, more hopeful and re-energized to ENJOY my life and work. As a CHTP I can, and do, do energy work on myself but there isn't anything like pure receiving.
All of these experiences with the healing power of intentionally setting aside time to tend to your energy makes me wish insurance companies could offer a package for preventative healthcare that included energy work. It would be reminiscent of the days in which we lived in villages and took care of each other. It's a big dream, but you know what? I believe it's within reach.
I'll be keeping my big dreams alive over here. I'll be taking care of myself in the many ways I do, and I sincerely hope you will too.
